About me
Tsianina Tovar is an ML Instructional Coach K-12 for Buncombe County Schools. She is a National Board Certified Teacher and has earned the NC Global Educator Digital Badge (GEDB) from which her capstone project (9-week unit plan) was recognized as a state exemplar. She has worked in education for the past 27 years in various roles including ESL teacher K-12, Spanish teacher 9-12 and coordinator for Title III (ESL) and Title VI (Indian Education) federal programs. She has been an ML consultant for Great Minds and a writer for their Multilingual Learner Resource, an ML support guide to the Wit & Wisdom ELA curriculum. Most recently, she served as a curriculum support consultant for the UNC World View Fellows program.
